Beach Information-

On Foot:
Walk to the end of Floral Lane ( a block)
Follow the trail that leads straight ahead
You will be walking uphill under a canopy of trees ( five minutes)
There will be a fork in the path at the top of the incline, follow the gently sloping one on right
You will see the lake at the top of the dune
Follow the path to the water’s edge( 10 minutes)

It is a beautiful walk to the water’s edge but it is a strenuous hike back up the dune. The State Park Map refers to it as a mountain. I think that is quite an exaggeration but it is definitely exercise.

BY CAR:
Should you choose to skip the wilderness experience, you can drive to parking lots a mile North or South. To the North is Weko Beach. You take Red Arrow North to the stoplight at Lake Street and make a left and head down to the beach. You can also take Red Arrow South about a mile to the main entrance to the park and follow the road to the beach parking lot.

IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW YOU GET TO ONE OF THESE FABULOUS BEACHES, JUST GET THERE!
